About My Practice

I am a lifelong Montgomery County resident and I have been representing individuals,
businesses, and municipalities for 40 years. After graduating from Penn State with a
degree in labor and industrial relations, I attended Delaware Law School and then proudly
served as a law clerk to the president judge of one of our state appellate courts. Thereafter, I
continued to serve the public as a prosecutor in the Montgomery County District Attorney’s
office, where, as a trial team captain, I focused primarily on white collar crimes and arson.
After public service, my private practice included all types of civil litigation, and I have tried
cases to verdict before juries in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Berks counties. I
have handled a countless number of cases in the areas of negligence, injury, business disputes, divorce, and the defense of persons charged with crimes. I believe that a strong litigation background is important. I always try to resolve a dispute first, but I am ready to try any matter that cannot be settled.

Today, my area of concentration is municipal law. I serve as the retained attorney, or solicitor, to Ambler Borough, Rockledge Borough, Upper Hanover Township, Upper Providence Township and its sewer authority, and the Pennsburg Borough Zoning Hearing Board. I serve as conflict counsel to the Lower Providence Township Zoning Hearing Board and have served as litigation counsel to Montgomery Township and Plymouth Township, as well as the Limerick Sewer Authority. Previously, I also represented West Pottsgrove township, the zoning hearing boards of Bryn Athyn and New Hanover, served as the assistant solicitor to the Pottstown School District, and for sixteen years served as the solicitor to the Montgomery County Board of Elections. On a select basis, I also still represent individuals and business in civil and business disputes as well as zoning and land use disputes. I am happy to consult with you on any matter, of any kind. If it involves something I am not able to handle, I can guide you to one of the excellent attorneys at the firm of Eastburn and Gray, where I have a special “Of Counsel” relationship with the firm.

My office is conveniently located in Collegeville at the intersections of Routes 422 and 29, across the street from the Providence Town Center.
